McQueen High School Girls Golf Program Tryouts and Information
Registration for Athletics:
All athletes must register to participate in the state of Nevada. Parents, go to the website below and complete the information; you must also complete a physical to participate in any sport. Registration needs to be completed by the beginning of the season. Payments for athletics can be made with the bookkeeper at McQueen High School.

Registration Fee for 2026: $125.00 – Pay with McQueen High School Bookkeeper before tryouts begin.
Golf Team Fees for 2026 will be paid after tryouts. Current fees are $50.00
Summer Golf Programs:
Students are encouraged to participate in Northern Nevada Junior Golf Association. Tournaments are run all summer long. If you participate in a tournament, please send me a copy of your scorecard.
Tryouts:
Tryouts for the 2026 golf season will go as followed (all days at Somersett Country Club)
- Saturday, August 1- 4:00 to 5:00pm
- Tuesday, August 4- 3:30 to 5:30pm
- Wednesday, August 5- 3:30 to 5:30pm
- Thursday, August 6- 3:30 to 5:30pm
- Friday, August 7th- 2:30 to 6:00pm (playing 9 holes)
