This course is continuation of Military Science II. This course provides an in-depth experience that applies the processes, concepts, and principles as described in the classroom instruction. Areas of emphasis include intermediate leadership and financial planning. Students will also gain experience in specific branch topics related to their program (Air Force/Space Force, Army, Marine Corps, or Navy). The appropriate use of technology and industry-standard equipment is an integral part of this course.
Additional Information: JROTC prepares students for life after high school in civilian and military careers. Employers look for the skills and individual attributes of leadership, ability to work well with small groups, and personal discipline developed through JROTC. Areas of emphasis include foundation of leadership, citizenship, wellness, and physical fitness. JROTC students can also choose to compete on several teams at the district, state, or national level. Teams include Air Rifle, Aerial Drone, Military Drill, Physical Fitness, and Leadership/Academic Bowl.
